Over the years, Miles has been asked many questions regarding the build process. Here are two of themost frequently asked questions, along with our answers.

Why not buy a home that is already built?

We hear you. Many times clients find us after they are exhausted from the house hunting gig. We understand that you owe it to yourself to look and see if your forever dream home is already waiting for you to move in turn-key. If you have time constraints then an existing home is the best “right now” move. Chances are, however, your search will not lead to that perfect floor plan - with just the right counter surfaces and storage areas. Your search does help though, because most of our clients know for sure what they don’t want after they have looked around a bit. 

What is the difference between a custom home and a production built home?

Our clients often tell us they don’t want a “cookie cutter house.” We know they dislike an identical floor plan that has been built several times or they don’t want to work with someone that is not flexible to changing a floor plan. Often these production homes are not customizable to the needs of your lifestyle. Your custom home, built from the ground up with you in mind, will truly be one of a kind. Miles will work with you to determine room sizes, square footages, architecture style and all the other details of the build process. Miles will be there with you through the journey of pricing, design, build, closing and beyond move in.
